Some days it feels like your back is against the wall and there's just nothing you can do. Other days, there is hope and help and with God's grace you give it all you've got to see it through to completion. A friend just recently shared this thought with me, that the enemy of our souls won't fight against people that have already won the battle, he fights those who are making a difference, those who are growing and becoming more Christlike.
So, if you're feeling the pressure of the spiritual fight, remember this, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Thankfully our story doesn't have to end there! As children of God we have access to the throne of God and to His awesome power! We can talk to God and share our problems with God, who doesn't just sympathize with us, but all power is in His hand and nothing, absolutely nothing is too difficult for Him! He is so awesome that our human minds can't even begin to figure Him out!
Here's what the Bible has to say about the power that we as Christians have access to because of God's love for us, "“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that
sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to
Christ.”

Getting back to that scenario I began with, feeling that your back is against the wall and your situation is hopeless, take time to reflect on Who God is. Take time to REMEMBER the things God has done in your life thus far! Has He ever answered any prayers? Does He love you? He absolutely does! Otherwise He would not have given His one and only son for you and for me! In addition to His Awesome power, His love is beyond what you or I could ever fathom. Simply and honestly, I'm glad that God is in control and that I can take my BIGGEST, impossible situations to Him and his power isn't diminished in the least! With God on our side we have what it takes to never give up! Not in ourselves, but in Him,"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
